We Indians celebrate Republic Day of India on 26th January. As a Student we will be happy that we are getting holiday on 26th January and We are participating in some programs before flag hosting and the most important one we will have the Indian Flag Tiranga  pinned on Our Dresses and the School management will give us some snacks like Parle G or Other Buiscuits and some sweets. After all these things and some speeches we will go to home happily as it is a holiday now.

So from this we come to know that Republic day is the day on which our Indian Constitution came in to effect, this is the reason we Celebrate Republic day and Our Indian constitution came into effect on 26th January 1950, so the first republic day celebrated was on 26th January 1950 after 3 years of independence i.e., almost 70 years ago.

Now on 26th January 2020 We will be celebrating our 70th Republic Day.
