Ramazan 2023 Timetable for Hyderabad
Ramadan is the month of the Quran. Fasting during the days of Ramadan is mandatory for Muslims.
For Fasting, Muslims have to eat Sehri before sunrise. And then they can’t eat or drink anything till the sunset. At Sunset Muslims break their fast with Dates or Water. It is called Iftar.

Fasting in Ramazan is Mandatory
Fasting in Ramazan is mandatory for every Muslim. As Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala says in Surah Al Baqara Ayah 235
The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Qur’?n was revealed as guidance for mankind and as clear signs that show the right way and distinguish between right and wrong. So those of you who witness the month must fast in it.
The Prophet Muhammad ? said:
Islam is based on five things:
- The testimony that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger,
- the observance of the prayer,
- the payment of zakat,
- the Pilgrimage, and
- the fast during Ramadan.”

Ramadan ul Mubarak is expected to start on 24th March 2023 and is expected to End on 22nd April 2023.
Importance of Sehri
Prophet Muhammad ? said:
“Take Sahur, for in Sahur there is a blessing.” (Sunan Nasai)

Importance of Iftar
The Prophet Muhammad ? said:
“The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast.”(Bukhari: 1957)
