1. Charminar

Charminar is one of the most visitable Historical Monuments in Hyderabad. It was built in the 16th Century by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah – the 5th ruler of the Qutub Shahi Dynasty.

Charminar has 4 minarets and a mosque on the top floor for more than 400 years.

It is surrounded by 4 Kaman(Arches) namely the Kali Kaman, Machli Kaman, Sher-e-Batil ki Kaman and Charminar Kaman.

Makkah Masjid is just opposite to the Charminar. And you have the famous Chudi Bazar i.e., Lad Bazaar there. With the Historical Stone monument, Pathergatti is at a walkable distance.

2. Golconda Fort

The other famous Historical Monument in Hyderabad is the Qila Golconda (Golconda Fort). It is famous for its impenetrable structure. The fort was the early capital of Qutub Shahi dynasty (1512 -1687).

3. Chowmahalla Palace

Chowmahalla Palace is one of the historical palaces in Hyderabad. It was the official residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad.

The UNESCO Asia Pacific Merit award for cultural heritage conservation was presented to Chowmahalla Palace on 15th March 2010.

The palace consists of two courtyards as well as the grand Khilwat (the DarbarRe Hall), fountains and gardens.

4. Gulzar Houz

Gulzar house is a historical fountain located in Hyderabad’s old city near Charminar. It is used to serve the thirst of Nizam’s Soldiers at that time.

Gulzar houz was constructed by Mir Momin Astarabadi the first Prime Minister during the rule of Mohammad Quli Qutb Shah.

5. Pathergatti

Pathergatti is the historical stone arcade in Hyderabad. Mir Osman Ali Khan the 7th Nizam built Pathergatti buildings on either side of the road from Madina Building to Charminar.
