Shahran Market is named after Shahran Hotel which is adjacent to the market.
The hotel was started by Shahran Bin Muhammad Bajrai who was very famous at that time.

Though the market is replete with Myriad of Burqa shops but Sulaiman Burqa House stands out for its Quality, Exported Burqas, Discount and Exceptional Customer service.
